On May 16th this year we spotted the first flowers bloom on our Philadelphus Coronarus, which the French call “Poet’s Jasmine’’. The air was filled with the most enchanting scent. This is the heart note of Seize Mai, crossed with the iodine notes of the sea air that blows in from the coast.

FAQs

YES! We proudly ship worldwide.

Our candles are shipped from France. We offer standard shipping which takes about 3-5 days within Europe. International shipping outside of Europe usually takes 4-8 days but please allow for time for unexpected delays.

If you are ordering outside the EU, your local customs office may subject you to additional taxes and duties. We are working on finding an easier solution for you to receive your candles without the potential hassle of having to go through customs.

Due to the weight and fragility of the candles, we are working with selected shipping partners who we are sure will handle the candles with care and get them to you safe and sound. We are shipping on a cost-only basis and hope to be able to offer more shipping options soon.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and Cartes Bancaires.

The candles weigh 911 grams without the box and a little more than one kilogram with the box. We have paid great attention to the quality of the glass.

Our candles are handcrafted and produced in France. The scents have been produced in Grasse, the French capital of perfume.

We are committed to high-quality, artisanal products. The wax is without GMO or palm oil, without herbicides or pesticides, without dyes and vegan.

The glass is reusable once the candle is fully consumed. We suggest that you use it for pens, brushes, or plants. The box can be used for little notes or jewelry.

With SALON D’HIVER we wanted to capture an olfactory memory of moments spent inside in the
comfort of our winter salon: A warm and comforting scent of smoky log fire, tobacco and tonka beans.

Story Behind the Candles

Philipp was always obsessed with high quality candles. He’s the nose of our family, he can almost always guess the ingredients of food just by smelling and our daughter Lily seems to be taking after him - when we let her smell wine for the first time, (a burgundy) she said it smells of chocolate and raspberries. Which is typical for Pinot Noir grapes!
