When I printed a fabric sample from one of my lino-cut designs, originally meant for an upholstery project , my mother-in-law wrapped it around her neck and asked if it could be a scarf.
That moment stayed with me, and I headed out to find a company capable of translating my designs onto silk, the same company I had worked with during my years as a designer at Balmain.
It led us back to Italy, to artisans who work with the highest quality silk twill, the finest we could find, and who print and hand-finish each piece with incredible care.
For us, these scarves are quiet luxury: simple, beautiful things made properly, meant to last for years.
